| Cutting gemstones |
| Gems are items that increase the stats of weapons, armor, etc. To make gems, you must first obtain gemstones. Gemstones can only be obtained by killing monsters. They can be obtained from all types of monsters, but they are rare items with a low acquisition rate. Only the human race can craft gemstones using a crafting kit, and crafting kits are sold by the Human Machinery Merchant in Lostrealm Castle (coordinates 581, 599) and the Whitehorn Bodybuilder (895, 476). |

| 2. Purchase a craft kit. Image ② |
| 3. Try crafting by pressing the corresponding number of the quick slot where the gemstone is placed. |
| 4. If the crafting is successful, the message “Jewelcrafting was successful” will appear, and if it fails, the message “Jewelcrafting failed” will appear. |
| 5. A gemstone that is successfully crafted becomes a gem, and a topaz gemstone changes its name and shape into Magic Topaz. Image ③ |
